Gearing up for JavaOne 2007

JavaOne is right around the corner, and we'll be there in full force: several Googlers will be on hand at our booth in the JavaOne Pavilion, including engineers from the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) team, who are flying in from our Atlanta office. In addition to GWT demos, we'll have several people there to chat about the Google Checkout API.

Beyond the booth, Googlers are speaking at 11 different sessions. A few that might interest you:

• Joshua Bloch and William Pugh (Univ. of Maryland): Java™ Puzzlers, Episode VI: The Phantom-Reference Menace/Attack of the Clone/Revenge of the Shift (Tuesday, 3:20 PM)
• Bruce Johnson and Joel Webber: Fast, Beautiful, Easy: Pick Three--Building Web User Interfaces in the Java Programming Language with Google Web Toolkit (Wednesday, 1:30pm)
• Patrick Chanezon, Inderjeet Singh and Ignacio Blanco: Fun and Profit with the Google Checkout API in Java Technology (Thursday, 9:35am)
